Georgia fans of the hit TV show "The Big Bang Theory" may be interested to know that one of the stars recently separated from her husband. Mayim Bialik is best known in her current role, but shot to fame as a child star on the show "Blossom." Bialik made announced news of the divorce in a blog post.
On the same day she announced the split, Bialik filed divorce papers stating the split was due to irreconcilable differences. Bialik has received attention for supporting "attachment parenting" for her two young children, but she claims their parenting style did not contribute to the split. She is requesting the custody of her two children is shared with her spouse.
In her blog post, Bialik refers to her children and states that it may be challenging for her children -- who are both under the age of eight -- to understand the divorce. She has been married to her husband for nine years. The divorce filing could end up being a high-stakes divorce because of the income she is making as one of the major stars of the hit show.
